Job description

Our client, a private university with a highly cosmopolitan community, are recruiting for an experienced full time Registry Quality Officer on a temporary basis until the end of the year, to support the work of the Quality Manager and Head of Registry and provide specialist supported and advice to colleagues on matters relating to the quality assurance of the University's awards

The role will support the organisation of University review and (re)validation events; and will report on those events to appropriate fora. The post holder will develop and maintain an up-to date knowledge of quality in terms of academic standards, assurance and enhancement issues in the UKHE sector, with particular reference to the work of the QAA and any relevant professional and statutory bodies. Additionally, the post holder will contribute to the knowledge base of the Registry and the University through the sharing of information.

 

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience of working within Registry, ideally from a Higher Education setting. You will have the ability to learn new software packages easily, and have experience in using a higher education student record system (ideally SITS) or similar would be advantageous. You will be an effective communicator with a good telephone manner. A high level of attention to detail and written skills will be required
