Job description

Are you a Researcher hoping to work on topics of social importance? Do you want to help charities through high-quality nationally-recognised research?

Prospectus is thrilled to be supporting Directory of Social Change (DSC) in their search for two Researchers. DSC is a leading national charity which supports the independent voluntary sector through campaigning, research, training and publications. DSC is the largest supplier of information and training to this sector and its work helps tens of thousands of organisations achieve their aims every year.

The overall purpose of this role is to carry out quantitative and qualitative research for DSC's funding guides and online database. You will also support wider evaluation and analytical projects, identifying interesting trends and communicating these through high quality written work. Collecting and curating data to a high standard, contributing to policy and media work and assisting with the design of research projects is a big part of this role.

To be successful as a Researcher, you will have experience in applied social research, database and data entry skills and an understanding of CMS. You will have a passion for the charity sector and able to work on multiple projects with demanding deadlines.

A full job description will be provided to candidates shortlisted by Prospectus.

Please apply with a Word Document copy of your CV. Cover letters are not required at this stage.

Please note that the role may close earlier than the date advertised.
