Prospectus is excited to be working with War Child to help them recruit for a new Senior Data Manager to join a growing team. War Child is a specialist charity for children affected by conflict. For more than two decades they've delivering high-impact programmes that are rebuilding lives across Afghanistan, Iraq, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Central African Republic and Yemen.
This position of offered on a full-time permanent basis to be home based during the pandemic with an eventual part time return to the London office, paying circa £40,000 per annum.

The Senior Data Manager is ultimately responsible for overseeing and developing the database and all its associated systems and processes, as well as the Organisation's approach to data storage and data projects. The post plays a critical role in ensuring the database is capable of managing relationships with donors, supporters and stakeholders, as well as managing the programmatic data relating to their service delivery. Leading the data team to create and maintain excellent data-related management systems the postholder will oversee the full development lifecycle of new products and processes, from business analysis, development, testing, and roll out, working closely with their external implementation partners and managing project plans, budgets and external agencies.
The next Senior Data Manager will be a data professional who has a track record of leading and inspiring a team. You will recognise the power of excellent data in achieving War Child's aims and will thrive in taking ownership of the Data function to shape and grow it towards success. As well as the strong day to day skills to deliver on data requests, imports and exports and analysis you will be project savvy and comfortable communicating across the organisation. For success the you will enjoy being a thought leader in process improvement and efficiency setting initiatives to drive adoption and compliant use, as well as act as an external representative across wider data-related communities.
