Stalking Advocate
Prospectus is proud to be supporting an inspiring organisation that helps individuals affected by domestic abuse by providing innovative and unique services. They work to ensure that victims are supported to rebuild their lives, and that perpetrators are supported to change their behaviour and they are now searching for a Stalking Advocate to join their team, across Hart & Rushmoor, Basingstoke and East Hampshire.
As a Stalking Advocate, you will provide a high-quality and pro-active front-line service to victims of stalking, delivering a pathway of care focusing on safety and protection of the service users. Reporting to the Deputy Service Manager, you will provide pro-active intervention through individual safety planning, multi-agency risk management strategies and person-centred support, working to empower and support all victims and survivors of stalking to make positive choices.
To be considered for the role, you will have experience of managing a caseload of victims of stalking or domestic abuse, as well as an understanding and awareness of the needs of women, men and children of all ages who have experienced this. You will have a knowledge of child protection and safeguarding, legal and housing issues affecting victims and survivors, while understanding and empathising with the needs and experiences of the service users. Due to the nature of the role, you are required to hold a clean driving license and have access to a vehicle.
Please note this is a full-time role, 37 hours per week. Mondays and Thursdays 9.30am – 5.30pm and Friday 9.30am – 5.00pm.
