Prospectus is excited to be partnering exclusively with The Climate Group to recruit a Strategy and Development Manager (Zero Emission Transport). The Climate Group drives climate action. Fast. They do this by building large and influential networks and holding organisations accountable, turning their commitments into action.
This is a part-time (3 days per week/ 21 hours), fixed term position for six months, starting in June with the option to extend. The salary for this position is £36,000 - £44,000 FTE per annum, based on experience (part-time equivalent of £21,600 - £26,400). The role will be home based as the new working from home policy is still under development.
The post holder will work in the Fundraising team and work closely with the Climate Group Transport Team to leverage both the Climate Group's own zero-emission vehicle programme work, as well as the multi-stakeholder momentum being generated by RouteZero prior to COP26. This role will seek to build compelling propositions that speak to the needs of the entire EV ecosystem and can attract funding at significant (high-six, seven and possibly eight figure) levels from Governments, large Foundations and multi-national corporates.
They are looking for an fundraising professional with a track record of success in trust, foundations, institutional and/or corporate fundraising. The post holder will need experience of developing high quality written materials, ranging from inspiring concept notes to complex funding proposals and project budgets. The post holder will need the confidence and ability to manage relationships with funding contacts, to design and deliver innovative and successful donor cultivation, engagement and stewardship activities.
