Our client is a leading London university who are currently looking to recruit a Student Services/Recruitment Assistant to provide effective administrative support to the Registry team in tasks related to UCAS clearing and student support for 2022/2023. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a higher education setting. This role will be on a full-time fixed term contract for 4 months until end of November 2022. The post will be hybrid working of both office and home based
The successful candidate must:
- Have previous experience of dealing with extremely high volumes of work during a prolonged peak period
- Be available immediately or at short notice
- Experience of working within an office environment in a fast-paced role.
This varied position will cover all areas of admissions and clearing, including assisting staff enquiries and maintaining the staff database, as well as being involved in the enrolment of new and continuing students, you will be the first point of contact. Maintaining student records on databases, creating letters, statements and other documents relating to student matters, you will collate and submit application data as part of the UCAS clearing process.
To be considered for this role you will have a background in a similar fast paced post and the ability to handle a large volume of data in an efficient manner, you will possess excellent administrative skills. Organised, with excellent attention to detail, you will have experience in using databases and with a good level of efficiency on Microsoft office packages. You will have excellent customer service skills.
This position is being offered on a contract basis and you must be available immediately or at short notice in order to be considered.
