We are looking to increase our pool of frontline Support Assistants who are interested in registering for upcoming temporary roles.
As a Support Assistant you will work alongside Support Workers to support and empower service users to increase their life skills, self-management and confidence in order to successfully sustain independent living. You will assist with supporting adults up to the age of 65 with a range of complex needs including those experiencing homelessness or rough sleeping, substance misuse and/or mental health. Offering a person-centred support service to a caseload of clients, you will enable customers to identify their existing strengths and skills in order for them to achieve their goals and aspirations. In addition, you will also work closely with local health services and specialist agencies to maximise services and opportunities available to your clients.
To be considered for upcoming temporary Support Assistant vacancies, you will be able to demonstrate passion and motivation for supporting vulnerable people on their path to independent living, and will have a good understanding of the causes and challenges of homelessness. Proven experience of successfully supporting service users with multiple and complex needs is essential as is strong knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety and confidentiality.
