Prospectus are excited to be working with Autistica to help them recruit for a Support Engagement Manager. This is a new role and is part of a wider team expansion. Autistica is proud to be in the top five of the Third Sector Best Charities to Work for 2020 list.

Autistica's mission is to create breakthroughs enabling autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives. Their objectives are simple; they want to close the autism life expectancy gap; end health inequality, and ensure autistic people have an equal access to a high quality of life. Later in 2021, Autistica will launch a major campaign to dramatically improve the lives of autistic people. To ensure success, they are expanding their team which will enable them to reach new audiences and maximise relationships with existing stakeholders.

This role is offered on a permanent basis paying £37,000 per annum to be part office based in London and part home based.

The Supporter Engagement Manager will drive a new approach to engaging with their fundraisers and donors that is insight-led, systematic and scalable. Using one-to-one and one-to-few communication tactics and qualitative and quantitative insights, the post holder will develop, manage and optimise supporter journeys and experiences that maximise engagement and income in the short and long term. The role works collaboratively with colleagues in other engagement teams to integrate plans and ensure a seamless delivery of supporter experiences.

They are looking for someone with a proven track record of increasing income from individual donors and have a developed understanding of Individual Giving, Community and Events audiences. The ideal candidate will be able to develop compelling stewardship plans to meet their specific needs/maximise income.
