Our client, one of London's leading higher education establishments, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Teaching and Learning Administrator to provide key administrative support for taught programmes. This is a full-time role, working 5 days a week, and will run for approximately 6 months.
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist administration for the department's accreditation process and to assist and manage the day-to-day administration of teaching programmes. The post holder will be involved in managing the organisation of the process, which involves creating and maintaining student files as well as liaising with colleagues across the University to ensure the process runs smoothly. Providing administrative support, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the development of the department including, but not limited to, producing results reports, coordinating and attending meetings, taking and circulating minutes. You will also be required to assist senior staff as and when required with correspondence, diary management and enquiries.
In order to be considered for this post, you will need to have previous administrative experience within a higher education setting, ideally related to courses/programmes, along with excellent IT and communication skills. Familiar with virtual learning environments (VLE) and able to learn and use new systems quickly, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly.
