Prospectus is delighted to be supporting The International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) in their search for a new Team Administrator, where you will play a pivotal role in providing excellent administrative support to further the ILDS' strategic objectives.
The ILDS is a non-governmental organisation that promotes the improvement of dermatological care, education and science across the world. The vision of the ILDS is to attain the best possible skin health for all people around the world. Their mission is to increase awareness, cooperation and communication within the global dermatology community to promote high quality education, clinical care, research and innovation that will improve skin health globally.
It's an exciting time to be joining the ILDS as they develop their reach and further share the broad range of approaches to skin health and disease that exist throughout the world. As a Team Administrator, you will work closely with other colleagues in relevant areas to provide administrative support to the global board, membership and staff teams as well as providing intuitive ad hoc cover when required. The role encompasses a broad range of tasks including general office administration, organising meetings and events, supporting ILDS Committees, membership and financial and fundraising administration.
To be a successful candidate, you will thrive in a small team and bring a friendly, collaborative and proactive approach to your work. You will have demonstrable ability across the range of administration duties required, alongside attention to detail and strong numeracy skills. Possessing strong IT skills, you will be comfortable working across a range of platforms from databases to Microsoft Office. Some exposure to web content systems and experience uploading content would be desirable. It is vital for the post that you are highly organised and can communicate information concisely and with tact at all levels. Some experience in a health-related non-governmental organisation and/or working internationally is desirable, but not essential.
