Westminster, London
£40000 - £45000 per annum
Permanent
Job description

Prospectus is excited to be working with the Honeypot Children's Charity to recruit for a new Trusts and Foundations Grants Manager. The new post holder will be tasked with leading the trusts and foundations fundraising team to generate income over £450,000 each year with a view to steadily increasing that level in the years to come. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis paying between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum to be based, after the CoVid-19 crisis, in their London Office.

The Honeypot Children's Charity offers both respite breaks and outreach support to young carers, many of whom would otherwise have nowhere to turn. They are the only charity in the UK offering consistent support to young carers throughout childhood; from the age of 5 until the age of 12. The charity believe that every child has the right to make the most of their one chance at childhood, regardless of the circumstances they experience at home. This is why they exist. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2021, it is an exciting time to be joining this dynamic children's organisation.
Your role will be to research, identify and implement new funding opportunities and maintain and grow existing donor relationships. In the position you will devise and deliver a high performing strategy for trusts and foundations that harmonises with the overall Fundraising Strategy for all other income generating fundraising activities and the three Honeypot Fundraising Offices that currently exist.

In the role you will create a 12month schedule of Grant Applications on a rolling basis that builds a strong pipeline at any one time and ensures a constant and high-level output of quality and timely Trusts & Foundations Grant Applications. Regularly report progress in delivering this schedule to the Director of Income and Communications.

They are looking for someone with previous experience in a fundraising environment with a proven track record of securing five and six figure bids from trusts, foundations, and lottery sources. You will have good communication skills and be able to work within the small and dedicated team.

At Prospectus we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you in your application. In order to apply please submit your CV in the first instance and begin to prepare your supporting statement. Should your experience be suitable, we will send you the full job description and will arrange for a call and/or meeting to brief you on the role. You'll then have all the information you need to formally apply. We are looking forward to speaking with you soon.
