Job description

Prospectus is pleased to be working with Single Homeless Project to recruit their new Trust and Foundations Fundraising Officer. SHP are a London-wide charity working to prevent homelessness and help socially excluded people transform their lives.

The Trust and Foundations Fundraising Officer will work alongside the Head of Fundraising to build a substantial portfolio of grant making organisations to support a range of programmes and activities. The Officer will be responsible for developing, preparing and submitting funding applications in order to achieve a collaborative Fundraising team target. You will accurately report back to funders who have generously supporting the organisation in a timely manner and ensure that all gifts and partnerships are tracked on the fundraising database.

Prospect research is a key responsibility of this role, so the selected candidate will have excellent research and analytical skills and will be a superb, compelling writer. You will ideally have worked in a trusts and foundations role before and ideally will understand the homeless sector funding landscape. You will be a committed, driven fundraiser looking to join an impactful organisation.
