Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with Haven House Children's Hospice to help them recruit for a new Trusts and Grants Manager to join their growing team. Haven House Children's Hospice looks after children and young people aged from birth to 19 years old who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The facility is set in a large estate with bright gardens on the borders of Essex and North East London, near Woodford Tube Station on the Central Line, and has been recently renovated giving it a modern, open and positive feel. The income generation team is stationed in a new purpose-built office that is separate to the hospice building itself but set in the estate grounds.
This role will report into the Director of Income Generation & Marketing and is offered on permanent full-time basis paying £35,863 to £40,844. They are asking people to come into the office two days a week at the moment but this is flexible for the right candidate.
The post holder will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with donors and funders from charitable trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to develop and grow our trusts fundraising programme. This role focuses on applications to a variety of trusts to secure core and project funding for the work of the hospice. The post holder will also work closely with the wider team including the major gifts team to identify new prospects.
They are looking for a fundraiser with a demonstrable understanding of the range of funding opportunities within grants, trusts and foundations. The ideal candidate will understand how to apply for statutory income (eg local authority and NHS grants) opportunities.
