Prospectus are excited to be working with DePaul UK to help them recruit a Trusts Fundraising Officer. DePaul UK works with some of the most disadvantaged young people in the UK. They specialise in working in communities where poverty and long-term unemployment have resulted in generations of social exclusion and high rates of homelessness. They are now looking to diversify and sustain their voluntary income to further strengthen the organisation and ensure more young people have a safe place to call home.
This role is offered as a 12-month full-time fixed term contract (maternity cover) paying £33,794 per annum with pension and benefits. They will be operating a flexible hybrid working system with two days a week in the office and the remainder working from home.
The post holder will be an integral member of a proactive and dedicated trust fundraising team, managing current donors, building new relationships and communicating the great impact the charity has with vulnerable young people. The post holder will help to deliver a brand-new trusts and foundations strategy that is taking shape now and aims to deliver a huge impact on youth homelessness.
They are looking for a candidate with experience in raising funds from trusts and foundations. The ideal candidate would have a track record of writing successful five figure bids and securing single gifts.
