UKCF are the membership organisation for 47 UK community foundations; the only national network of charitable funders with a physical presence in every part of the UK and the UK’s 4th largest funder.
We are currently using a shared legacy system built with Salesforce Classic though will be implementing and supporting 38 individual Salesforce instances from June 2024 for each Community Foundation. Each individual instance will be based on a network agreed Salesforce design, with the ability for foundations to bespoke their system to fit their individual needs if required.
This role of Systems Administrator reports into the Network Digital Transformation Lead and will initially cover our existing legacy system and be an integral part of the implementation, data migration and ongoing development and support of the new system and structure.

Our client, a leading London university, is looking to appoint a temporary Research Information Management System (RIMS) Developer , to support the development of their RIMS, Pure.
This is a part time role, 1 - 2 days per week, running for 3 months in the first instance. This role would be fully remote.

You will manage the contract for the day-to-day financial operations and work with the outsourced finance team to clear backlogs of sales invoices (working with SMT project leads), finalise raising invoices process/ sales invoice timetable, establish petty cash reconciliation process, establish new system for expenses and coordinate payment runs. You will also complete monthly pension contribution submissions and contribute to the production of financial statements and the delivery of a successful audit . You will collaborate with the wider organisation to ensure accurate financial management information, identify operational and financial risks, and determine methods of mitigating the risks. You will perform any other reasonable tasks required by the CEO.
This role requires proven experience of using insight and analysis to provide trends, inform and drive business decisions and experience of formulating, overseeing and reporting on operational plans, including KPIs.

As an Assistant Housing Manager you will work closely with the Housing Manager to support the delivery of operational efficiency across the Company's six residential sites and services for 206 residents, including leasehold. You will provide excellent customer service to residents and work to ensure that each site is safe, secure and compliant with regulatory requirements. As well as, supporting the development and implementation of new systems and processes, providing guidance on Housing policies and procedures and working closely with the finance team to manage rental income and invoice payment. You will also deputise in the absence of the Housing Manager.

As a Scheme Manager for one of their housing schemes, based in East London, you will manage a sheltered housing scheme, made up of 18 units for women residents aged 55 years and over. You will be responsible for the management of the Scheme, including the welfare of residents, the building, security, maintenance and management of compliance and regulatory requirements. You will work alongside the residents and stakeholders to provide advice and guidance daily, facilitate social events to help build a community, reduce isolation and be proactive in driving resident community engagement.
Individuals with a background in housing, estate or facilities management are highly encouraged to apply, as well as those with demonstrable experience in managing a residential scheme, working with older people and knowledge of related services and benefits. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Volunteer Manager to join the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Kew). Volunteers contribute significantly to the delivery of Kew’s mission, supporting all aspects of Kew’s work notably in Horticulture, Science, visitor engagement, schools, community and access programmes and Galleries. We currently count on over 800 volunteers across our two sites - Kew Gardens in west London and Wakehurst, our wild botanic garden in Sussex.
The volunteering function sits within the Gardens directorate in the Learning and Participation department but has an organisational-wide remit, working closely with business areas such as Horticulture, Science, HR and H&S. There is a devolved structure for the management of volunteers with a full time Volunteer Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at the centre with responsibility for delivering the Volunteer Strategy and associated KPIs, policy and procedures. This central resource support is vital for the continued expansion and development of the volunteering programmes in a coherent and equitable way and to a uniformly high level.
The Volunteer Manager will engage with all volunteers, including those under 18 years of age and vulnerable adults. An Enhanced DBS check is required.
About You
We are seeking an experienced volunteer manager who will ensure our volunteers, and staff who coordinate them, have the skills and support they need to confidently and consistently perform their roles to support the implementation of Kew’s Manifesto for Change.
You will manage the central function for volunteers across Kew Gardens and Wakehurst, supporting processes linked to recruitment, selection, induction, training, pastoral care and leavers. You will have excellent knowledge of the UK volunteer sector and understand the legal context of engaging volunteering and how it differs from employment. With excellent IT and administrative skills, you will be experienced in collecting, maintaining, analysing and reporting on volunteer data.
You will be an ambassador for Kew’s volunteers and a visible presence for all volunteers, advocating for them internally and externally. Your strong interpersonal skills will ensure excellent levels of communication with volunteers and staff, and this will include representing volunteers on Kew’s Leadership Forum and chairing the Volunteer Steering Group.
This role is based at Kew Gardens with occasional regular travel to Wakehurst and occasional travel within the UK. There will also be the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
