The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment is a bold organisation with an ambition to make impact investment mainstream in order that this becomes  a key tool in addressing fundamental environmental and social challenges around the world on an unprecedented scale. We are small, nimble, ambitious and truly global. Based in London, and with staff in New Delhi and Paris, the GSG is chaired by Sir Ronald Cohen and brings together leaders from the worlds of business, finance, philanthropy and NGOs.

The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment is now hiring a Global Director of Philanthropy & Investment to devise and implement compelling propositions to secure significant income from philanthropists and grant makers to deliver our ambitious mission.

We are looking for someone able to inspire individuals at the highest level within national and international organisations to galvanise financial support for the GSG’s charitable mission and global activities. This individual will be able to clearly articulate how impact investing can play a role in achieving sustainable development which aligns with the philanthropic goals of foundations and development organisations.

You are someone with considerable experience of developing relationships and securing funds from across the worlds of global finance, business and philanthropy as well as an ability to leverage relationships with trusts, foundations and bi-lateral donors.  Ideally with a knowledge of the social enterprise and investment sectors, you bring an adaptable approach to deliver innovative solutions and share GSG’s vision and passion to achieve meaningful growth within the Impact Investment sector.
