Job Description

An exciting new opportunity within one of London's leading art and design institutions has arisen for a Research Information Manager to provide expertise and support across research, knowledge exchange and executive education.

As the Research Information Manager, you will support the college's development and implementation of strategies, policies and other initiatives through managing, analysing, reporting and advising on research information and data. You will be responsible for ensuring that research information held by the college is accurate and accessible for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also work closely with the Head of Research Development and Director of Research to maximise opportunities for research and funding along with contributing to the delivery of key strategic outcomes for the college. As the Research Information Manager, you will have responsibility for collating, presenting and analysing data from internal and external systems in order to inform key strategic decisions. You will act as key point of contact for various research centres along with internal departments within the college, dealing with queries as appropriate. As part of this role, you will also ensure there is an accurate and streamlined process in place for reporting to external funders together with developing reports and case studies that demonstrate the college's research and innovation activities. Â

The successful candidate will be a proven professional with previous experience in a similar post together with current knowledge of UK and international research and Higher Education funding environment. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with strong data analysis and IT skills. With exceptional communication skills you will be able to use your own initiative and have the ability to work independently and proactively. You will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly.
