We are looking for a Trust Fundraising Intern to be an integral part of our team at Prostate Cancer Research Centre, based in central London.
This role is a great opportunity if you are a graduate or ready for your next step towards a career in Fundraising. You will be able to gain solid experience and develop skills within an exciting and ambitious Fundraising Team as we significantly grow our income and expand our research.
The role will report into the Trusts & Foundations Manager and support PCRC’s Trust Fundraising Strategy to contribute towards the achievement of our planned income growth from existing and prospective grant-making Trusts and Foundations. The role will be responsible for identifying and researching potential funders, drafting and submitting funding applications, stewarding PCRC’s portfolio of Small Trusts, and inputting Trust income on our CRM system.
There is also the opportunity to support PCRC’s new Patient Voice project. This includes communicating with patients and family members, as well as supporting bid development through research and production of supporting materials.
Prostate Cancer Research Centre is a UK-based medical research charity dedicated to developing new treatments for prostate cancer. Our focus is solely on the advanced stage of the disease, which causes the majority of prostate cancer deaths and for which treatments are currently limited.
