What the job involves
With an ambitious strategy and an ever-increasing profile, Prostate Cancer UK is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation and are recruiting a Business Development manager to help drive our strategy forwards. As a key role in the Corporate Partnership team, you will be responsible for leading the Business Development function, leading and managing the Business Development team to reach key targets.
You will contribute to developing, reviewing and implementing the new business strategy, with the aim of achieving ambitious income targets and developing long term support. This includes defining milestones, budgeting, and the development of a strong pipeline of new business prospects.

By offering leadership, support and strategic direction, you will help take our corporate income to the next level by ensuring that we are providing a proactive, energetic and professional service to potential corporate partners, enabling them to join our ambitious journey to tame prostate cancer in ten years.
You must be a strong leader with line management experience and extensive sales experience with specific examples of winning innovative and high value partnerships. You are creative, energetic, tenacious and persuasive, with the ability to translate our work and strategy into distinctive applications and presentations uniquely aligned to the business goals of new corporate funders.
