Location: Our head office is located in Central London (Tooley Street, London Bridge) and we have an office in Glasgow. We welcome applications from across the UK (home based or in either the London or the Glasgow office) however this role involves considerable travel across the UK.
What the job involves
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and skilled communicator to join our Improving Care TrueNTH programme team. You will use your expert influencing knowledge and skills in service improvement and service redesign within a health care environment. You will support the development and scaling of evidenced-based TrueNTH projects across the UK, which aims to improve the lives and experiences of prostate cancer patients, their partners, carers and family members.
You will work across the charity to achieve the TrueNTH programme aims through influencing national policies and building relationships with NHS partners both nationally and locally to implement TrueNTH projects to improve outcomes.
What we want from you
You will have a proven track record in influencing change within the health service (preferably at acute trust or commissioning unit level), coupled with excellent communication skills and experience in developing and managing stakeholder relationships at a senior level within the health service.
You will have proven knowledge of at least one UK health service, and how it works and will understand the routes to influence to achieve service redesign.
