The Personal Support Unit (PSU) is an independent charity providing much-needed support to people dealing with the civil and family court process without legal representation. Many of our clients have experience of domestic abuse, and the PSU is recruiting for a number of roles that will enable us to enhance the support we can offer them. The IT & Resources Assistant (DA) role is a new one-year+ appointment (funded until the end of March 2020) and will be integrated into our Systems & Resources team to support our increase in staff.
We are looking to recruit a post holder based in central London. You will report to the IT Project Officer, and will be remotely supporting colleagues across England and Wales with occasional travel when required.
The ideal candidate will have: excellent troubleshooting skills, a knack for solving hardware and software issues, efficient administrative skills, the ability to co-operate with colleagues in a fast-paced and varied work-place, empathy for our clients, a willingness to learn, and the flexibility to follow directions or take the initiative as needed.
If this sounds like you, we look forward to receiving your application: please send a CV, together with a covering letter clearly explaining how you fulfil the criteria in the job specification and the requirements for the role.
Interviews will take place on 15 February 2019.
