Puzzle Centre is a charity, currently based near Winslow, Buckinghamshire, that provides high quality education, therapy and support for children with autism or other communication difficulties. We also work to ensure that families receive expert advice and support and to deliver a range of training courses to both parents and practitioners. We are a leader in the development of best practice early intervention for autism.
The charity has plans to relocate, in due course, to a new building which will become a Centre for Excellence in Early Years Autism and a base to grow its services to meet the increasing demand for specialist education and therapy for young children with autism.
As our new CEO, you will have a passion for our vision to develop this trailblazing service. You will work with the Founder and senior management team to implement the growth strategy of Puzzle Centre. You will also play a major role in the forthcoming capital campaign to fund the new building and centre for excellence.
You will have the ability to represent Puzzle Centre externally to ensure broader recognition, increase the flow of funding and work to build our internal capabilities as we grow and evolve, leveraging the Board of Trustees and our supporter network. We are also looking to build new partnerships to broaden our links and reputation.
You will be ambitious and entrepreneurial, with energy and strategic vision. You will have the ability to communicate the work, success and ambition of Puzzle Centre, be able to engage as naturally with high-profile supporters as with the charity’s beneficiaries and be able to lead and motivate people effectively. We are looking for a person experienced in management and able to demonstrate a record of high achievement preferably in the charity sector. We believe this will be an opportunity to be part of something that is already special and has an exciting future.
