The role will give our finance team extra support as we prepare end-of-year accounts.
You will be bringing your expertise to a highly-respected frontline and grassroots organisation, and you will have a high level of QuickBooks experience to support the team in one of Camden’s most deprived communities. We help 3000 people annually through our core charitable programmes for older people, younger people and families. We also run two commercial nurseries and offer extensive hall and facilities hire, which provide 61% of our total income.
During the pandemic, many of our services were suspended to concentrate on our ‘Fight C19’ emergency programme. This initiative attracted significant new funding and was one of the largest of its kind in Camden. It provided advice and guidance, an NHS lateral flow testing centre and a busy food bank amongst other things.
The temporary finance manager will support our team with the extra workload this has generated. Alongside our interim accountancy firm and full-time assistant, you will bring a forensic but intuitive approach to helping us review bookkeeping procedures and finalising our accounts.
You will be working with a closely-knit but very friendly team based in our busy main building in Queen’s Crescent, Gospel Oak.
