A really interesting role which is able to both build on a successful existing programme (regional corporate), and develop a brand new section of the team from scratch (national corporate). The regional work will follow the model this charity has on the philanthropy side which works with fundraisers in their nation-wide regional hubs, to coach and develop them in maximising their local relationships. The central team will be to provide more experience and advice in order to support the regional teams to deliver top-notch account management and new business.
At the same time, the CPM will be developing a national partnerships programme. They have had prior success (including a £multi-million partnership), a big household name and fundable products, so there is plenty of scope for this to take off. A consultant has already reviewed and so the initial research work into types of partnership and strategy is sketched out, ready for someone to come and start building the pipeline.
It offers a unique mix to make a national programme your own and develop almost from scratch (but with an excellent track record behind you), as well as being able to develop an existing portfolio at the same time. A great role for professional development.
