  • be instrumental in supporting the Head of Partnership Funding and other SMT members.
  • embed a best practice approach, as well as GDPR-compliant systems and processes, to identify opportunities that allow the Major Donor team to hit their ambitious targets
  • use planning and insight to contribute to the strategic direction of the team’s approach to prospect research and management
  • ultimately contribute to the growth of HNWI giving and the exposure of the charity to high value audiences.

The right candidate:

  • has a hunger for finding the most appropriate HNW individuals to support their work
  • has a strong understanding of current fundraising trends and innovations, such as social investment bonds
  • has a great network and can hit the ground running, mapping networks, refining prospect lists and using a database to grow the income stream significantly
  • is at ease dealing with key internal stakeholders, both junior and senior, as well as volunteers
  • is an experienced prospect researcher, able to get to work on seeking out the best networks as soon as they begin in the role
  • is an analytical thinker, able to easily analyse data and draft reports for senior staff to help guide philanthropic strategy
  • is a proactive and confident team player. While the role sits in the major donor team, there will be a significant amount of collaborate working.
