This charity exists so that no one who is deafblind or has other complex disabilities is isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential. Across the country, they support children and adults to communicate and experience the world. They provide information and advice, offer a wide range of flexible services and campaign for the rights of people with complex disabilities to take part in life.

As Trusts and Statutory Manager, you will join their successful engagement team of four including Head of High Value Partnerships, Trusts Manager, Statutory Manager and Prospect and Insight Manager. You will play a key part in delivering their goal of reaching 50,000 people with complex disabilities by 2026. They plan to deliver growth in charitable projects and to build several new multi-million-pound hubs in Belfast, Leeds, and the Southwest.

As Trusts and Statutory Manager, you will: 

  • Develop and manage a robust portfolio of prospects and supporters to meet c£3m team income target from trusts and statutory sources
  • Lead on funding applications to a range of trusts, foundations and statutory funders, including coordinating inputs, writing narrative applications and application budgets
  • Research and identify potential funders for unfunded projects

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Experience of generating income in a high value role at 5- and 6-figure level
  • Experience of developing a trusts and foundations or statutory pipeline, making sure opportunities are identified, recorded, and taken forward
  • Able to write strong, persuasive narrative for five and six figure plus proposals and reports
  • Comfortable representing the organisation and developing new leads and relationships
