About the role:

This Best Companies Top 100 mid-sized company and Top 20 charity is looking to appoint a new role of Database and Insight Manager to play a crucial part in shaping Rainbow Trust’s fundraising and marketing data strategy. The post holder will take responsibility for the management of the new CRM database (Donorfy), playing a formative role in enabling the fundraising and engagement teams to get the most from the recently purchased system.

You will be the technical systems expert, developing processes and governing supporter data to help us reach income and engagement goals. With significant experience of managing a CRM database, advanced excel skills and the ability to write and edit applications in Microsoft SQL server, you will be confident in representing our data needs to external CRM developers, as well as regularly training and supporting internal CRM users, being first point of contact for queries and producing/overseeing user guides.

Reporting to the Head of Engagement, you will provide in-depth reporting and enjoy undertaking analysis to help draw out actionable insights to enable the fundraising and engagement teams to spot trends and opportunities, make decisions and forecast accurately.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and persistence as you will be responsible for developing processes and data structure to get the most out of the CRM database functionality.

As we have recently returned to the office after lockdowns and restrictions easing, we are getting used to the new world and generally working a hybrid three of five days in the office.

  • You are a data expert - with significant experience in managing and enhancing CRM database, web applications and integration
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and supportive team member – You enjoy acquiring technical knowledge which you will pass on to colleagues by providing support and mentoring to ensure databases are used in the most effective way.
