Job description

We are looking for a Digital Communications Officer, who will work across a wide range of projects helping to drive the recruitment of volunteers for Raleigh International’s programmes, build and nurture relationships with alumni, and increase brand awareness and audience engagement across a range of social platforms (paid and organic).

This role will manage the creation and implementation of social media guidelines and the planning and execution of successful social media and influencer campaigns.

Key responsibilities.

  • Social media management (managing current accounts and exploring new ones)
  • Paid social media using Facebook Business Manager.
  • Online community engagement.
  • Developing an influencer marketing plan and liaising with influencers.
  • Support the Marketing, Campaign and Communications team with email marketing, copywriting, delivering integrationed marcomms campaign.

Skills and experience.

We are looking for someone with proven experience working in a digital communications role.

  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to building brand awareness and driving conversions.
  • Experience of targeting specific audiences on social media with a good understanding of tactics and tone.
  • Working knowledge of Facebook Business Manager and running paid social campaigns across multiple audiences.
  • Experience using social media management tools such as Agorapulse/Sprout Social.
