Administrator - Avoiding Brain Injury in Childbirth (ABC

An exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual to join to join the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in an administrative role, working to support the Avoiding Brain Injury in Childbirth (ABC) Collaborative.

About the role

The Avoiding Brain Injury in Childbirth (ABC) Collaborative recognise that improving and sustaining safety and quality in any maternity service requires positive leadership to enable a creative and safe culture that values obstetric and maternity staff by encouraging them to contribute their knowledge to continuously improve the care women and families experience, and engage with women and birth partners to gain their insight too.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Programme Delivery and will support the day-to-day coordination of the programme. Other responsibilities include, maintaining a database of programme-related documentation, arranging meetings and other programme-related activities and ensuring web content relating to the programme is up-to-date and accurate.

About you

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Experience of supporting a project team
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills
  • Good knowledge of issues facing women’s health
  • Able to convey information clearly in both oral and written form
