Position: Eastern European Independent Gender Violence Advocate - Polish or Albanian speaking 0586
Location: Ealing, Hounslow and Brent, London
Salary: £27,948 per annum

About the Role:

You will support the service manager in building sustainable referral pathways and joint working protocols with a range of partners working with survivors of gender-based violence, including community housing organizations, BAMER support groups, health, substance misuse, law-enforcement agencies and other voluntary and statutory organizations.

You will support the service manager in building sustainable referral pathways and joint working protocols with a range of partners working with survivors of gender-based violence, including community housing organizations, BAMER support groups, health, substance misuse, law-enforcement agencies and other voluntary and statutory organizations.

You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence. You will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player.

Candidates for this role must be proficient in either of the following languages: Polish or Albanian.

An enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate will be required for this role.
