Role Overview

Job Title: Group Work Facilitators x2 (Part Time) 

Salary: £17,000 - £18,558 per annum (prorated from the full time equivalent salary of £34,000 - £37,116 per annum) Salary offer dependent on location of successful candidate.

Location: National with travel required across Refuge services (home working initially, with move towards hybrid working in future)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part Time, 18.75 hours per week (Flexible with some evening work required)

We are recruiting for two passionate and organised individuals who will coordinate and deliver group work programmes across a wide geographical area, supporting people who have experienced domestic abuse. An integral and exciting part of this new role will be engagement with local communities and stakeholders to establish and strengthen relationships that will facilitate the expansion of our support and enable the development of new group work models.

Essential Skills or Experience

This role is ideal for candidates who have good understanding of the impact of domestic abuse and experience of providing trauma informed support. You must have experience of delivering group work and must have the personal skills and qualities to ensure that our group work programmes are delivered in a safe and supportive environment.

The successful candidate must have experience of delivering and coordinating group work for survivors of domestic abuse and must be highly organised with the ability to plan and coordinate a number of programmes across a wide range of settings.

All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the feminist values of empowerment and equality which underpin all of our work. Successful applicants will be expected to work within Refuge’s Values and Behaviour Framework and demonstrate these in their everyday work.
