IT Second Line Support

Salary: £27,033 per annum

This role will help to support the entire IT and Communication functions within head office and regional domestic violence services.
This role will support end users by providing a service desk to ensure a high level of support, availability and integrity of IT systems, including Desktop and Server technologies. Providing first and second level assistance to all users, this role will coordinate call resolutions with other IT staff and third-party suppliers to resolve problems as quickly as possible, ensuring minimum impact on business.
We are looking for an individual with experience providing support in a Microsoft server/desktop environment, who has knowledge of upgrading and troubleshooting PC hardware, providing technical support in an Ethernet environment and an appreciation of hardware compatibility and networking issues.
Knowledge of Exchange 2010 servers, Outlook 2010 and a knowledge of Windows Server 2008 are essential, as is the ability to prioritise workload and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical staff.
An appreciation of and commitment to the aims and objectives of Refuge are a must.
