This is an exciting time to join Refuge's small but high performing press team. You’ll lead thematic areas of work and help drive forward our press strategy to help secure a range of coverage across print and broadcast media.
The successful candidate should have excellent relationships with a range of journalists and enjoy pitching stories and creating press opportunities. You’ll be a strategic thinker, creative and organised, and be an avid consumer of news. Working closely with colleagues across digital and policy teams you’ll know how media coverage can drive policy change and support survivors to tell their stories and help amplify their voices.
