Refuge is the UK’s largest provider of specialist services for victims of all forms of gender-based violence (domestic, sexual, so called ‘honour’ violence, modern slavery and human trafficking, prostitution, forced marriage, stalking and FGM). Every day we support over 6,000 women and children in our national network of services. These include Independent Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence Advocacy services (IDVAs/ISVAs and IGVAs), community outreach, specialist refuge accommodation, sanctuary services, culturally-specific services and the Freephone 24 Hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is highly organised and who wants to support all areas of fundraising. The post will join the passionate and dynamic fundraising team at Refuge, and support the goal of creating a world where violence against women and girls (VAWG) is not tolerated.
As Senior Supporter Care Executive, you will be responsible for providing the highest possible care and stewardship to our supporters; ensuring they feel valued, inspired and continue to support us. Working closely with the Community & Events and Individual Giving teams you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional supporter care to both new and existing supporters. In this role you will also support the database team with daily income processing and reconciliation as well as maintaining the accuracy and integrity on our CRM.
You will be driven and self-motivated, comfortable making decisions within agreed delegation levels. You will be able to work as part of the wider fundraising team and have the ability to work under pressure. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual, being part of a new strategy and with personal development built in.
