Refugees At Home is a small charity that does big things, connecting Refugees and asylum seekers in need with welcoming hosts across the United Kingdom.
Since we started, nearly seven years ago, we have made some 2,400 placements, hosted for more than 188,000 individual person nights and currently host some 100 guests across the UK.
We are looking to expand our team and recruit a new Placement Coordinator. This role will be predominantly home based, with two face to face days at different locations in London.
The Placement Coordinator will be one of a small team responsible for the effective delivery of database administration and delivering placements in line with Refugees at Home standards.
This individual will need an understanding of the specific situations and circumstances of refugees and asylum seekers, a can do attitude and ability to work to tight deadlines and strong attention to detail.
This role involves supporting our hosts throughout their placements and matching them with suitable guests. The role does not involve guest support or frontline working with guests.
All candidates must share a commitment to the mission and values of Refugees At Home.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a can do attitidue, good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Full details are included in the Placement Coordinator document.
Interviews are expected to be held face to face in London on the 28th September.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
