Hands on developing, designing and writing Tableau reports, dashboards and visualisations.
Project management of implementation and ensuring usage of new management information dashboard software, visible to key audiences across Relate (starting with Services Management Group, ELT, Senior Practitioners and Supervisors)
Work with Digital Services Development Manager on user acceptance testing of new management information dashboard system
Work with Software Manager to design dashboards for area managers, supervisors, SPCs and ELT
Work with Director of Services, managers and end users to define Relate’s management information needs
Monthly management information reports
Produce a monthly KPI report for Services Management Group, showing for each area performance against the agreed KPIs. Discuss the report with the area managers who make up the Services Management Group to validate the figures and provide brief commentary explaining trends and what is being done to improve the KPIs
Produce a monthly performance report, showing the performance of Relate’s national contracts and delivery in each area. Discuss the report with the area managers who make up the Services Management Group to validate the figures and provide brief commentary explaining trends and what is being done to improve the KPIs
Produce 6-monthly or annual outcome reports for each national contract, summarising and commenting on the Difference We Make data for funded clients
Knowledge, skills, experience
Essential skills and competences:
Technical and operational
High Proficiency and hands on experience writing and developing Tableau reports
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
Project management skills and demonstrable experience in project management
Demonstrable experience in utilising management information systems;
Skills and demonstrable experience in developing reporting systems and providing reports for stakeholders.
Ability to generate, analyse and interpret data to effectively manage resources and performance;
Excellent presentation skills;
Ability to convey complex technical matters in an easily understandable way;
Aware of and sensitive to equal opportunities issues;
Experience of writing and presenting reports;
Ability to work on own initiative;

Desirable skills and competences:
Certification in Tableau
MIS Projects and delivering Data Warehousing projects
Project management skills (PRINCE2 or MSP);
Knowledge and experience of applying the Data Protection Act and knowledge of GDPR;
Knowledge of Relate’s work;
Extensive knowledge of management information dashboarding software, e.g. Tableau;
Experience of administering, implementing or developing IT systems.
