JDRF is an ambitious and rapidly growing charity looking for a Relationship Fundraiser to join the Scotland team to help us to deliver our fundraising objectives and increase our income potential.
JDRF is the world’s leading charitable research funder of type 1 diabetes, improving lives until we find the cure. We fund and drive medical research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes; we provide information for children, adults and parents living with the condition at all stages, from diagnosis and beyond; and we give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and work to achieve increased focus on, and funding for, research to find the cure.
To help us achieve our mission of curing type 1 diabetes we need a Relationship Fundraiser to join our Scotland team to build, develop and steward relationships with key high level supporters.
You will provide a high level of supporter care in order to increase fundraised income from a variety of high value income streams including from the corporate market and high net worth individuals.
As an experienced fundraiser you will be responsible for providing relationship management to a high level volunteer group and its members, driving activities and events to maximise income and potential.
Proven experience of managing successful high level relationships, setting, delivering and achieving income budgets and excellent communication skills are key to being successful in this role.
