Job Description

Are you looking for work on an ad-hoc basis with the freedom to pick shifts up as and when you are available? We are a well-established provider of quality social care who are looking for passionate and committed staff members to make a difference to the lives of people living in supported living services in Birmingham.

Due to the nature of this work our shift patterns can be very flexible which means it will fit in with your other commitments. In our services in Birmingham we have a wide variety of shift patterns from 2 hour shifts to 10 hours shifts, these can include sleep-ins which are paid at a very generous rate of £68.57 - £97.96. You have the flexibility to pick up or decline shifts emailed to you by our admin team.

We are looking for a warm, respectful and reliable person, who is able to work well as part of a team to support people with learning disabilities, and go the extra mile. We are looking for someone who has the skills to engage with service users and commit to ensuring that they enjoy the highest quality of life and experience a wide range of opportunities for personal development and fulfilment. This can include going out in the community, attending social and recreational groups, visiting the cinema, bowling, art galleries, leisure centers, restaurants, etc.

Experience is essential in this job role.
