Rennie Grove Hospice Care provides vital support and care for adults and children at the end of their life. Our greatest challenge for the future is to ensure that we can meet the growing need for our service, which has never been more important than during the Covid-19 pandemic at a time when we saw demand for our services at a record high. To continue to do this, we must continue to increase public awareness about the vital care and support the Rennie Grove nurses provide, and so raise funds to help us to keep pace with the growing need.

As the Senior Community Fundraiser you will work 3 days a week (22.5 hours per week), Monday to Wednesday with some home working, as part of a job share. You will work closely with your job share who is a longstanding member of the community fundraising team, to deliver on our community fundraising engagement and activity plans, raising income to target. You will be building relationships with our established community of supporters as well as generating a pipeline of new support. Playing a part in the team reaching our realistic, yet ambitious, fundraising targets. You will work within a defined geographical area, reporting in to the Head of Fundraising Development, working collaboratively with the Community Fundraising team comprising of three Senior Fundraisers and one Fundraising Administrator, as well as the wider Fundraising team.

A car and driving licence will be essential for this role.

We offer development, flexible working, opportunities to volunteer and 25 days’ holiday per year plus bank holidays (pro rata).

At Rennie Grove Hospice Care, we’re all about making every moment matter for our patients and families, and you can play your part in that. We provide care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness, and their families, visiting day and night. It’s important work and, to make it all happen, we need talented and passionate people.
