This is an exciting role at Reset, where you will be connecting Ukrainians with sponsors in the UK, using our bespoke matching system as we seek to grow community led welcome.
Homes for Ukraine Scheme
Alongside our partners at Social Finance, and with funding from the government, we have set up a system that will ensure appropriate matches between UK hosts and Ukrainian refugees: the Homes for Ukraine service for community welcome.
Responsibilities
Homes for Ukraine matching service (75% of time)
- To carry out matching between sponsors and Ukrainians wishing to come to the UK
- Connecting sponsors and Ukrainians
- Following up on connections and advising on next steps
- Highlighting any safeguarding concerns about sponsors
- Checking eligibility of applications to scheme
Reporting and service improvement (25% of time)
- Sharing themes, need and ideas for development with the rest of the HfU project team
- Reporting bugs and issues with the matching platform, and working to implement solutions
Person Specification
Essential experience
- Demonstrable experience of working with volunteers
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work within, and create systems of improvement
Desirable experience
- Knowledge of community-led welcome
- Experience of managing and working in shared inboxes
We will be interviewing candidates as suitable applications come in, and there is an immediate need for these roles.
