We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our brand new Events Working Group at Restless Development. Working closely with the Events Manager and your fellow Events Working Group volunteers, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the organisation and development of an exciting new series of fundraising events.
ABOUT RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT
We know young people have the power to solve the challenges we face in our world, but they are being sidelined. We are the agency that works with young people so they can lead in solving those challenges. Whether that means supporting communities to end child marriage or prevent HIV, we work with young people to change their lives and the lives of people in their communities. Our programmes are genuinely life-changing, but can’t do any of this without talented, creative individuals at every level of our organisation.
Our event series will be comprised of four new fundraising events, provisionally scheduled for December 2019, and for March, June and August 2020 - likely to all take place in London. Your volunteering commitment is flexible, in that you can choose whether to support with the delivery of one event (for a minimum of three months), two events (minimum of six months) and so forth.
Our flagship event in the series has been identified for the w/c 10th August 2020.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
We really value the different skills, networks and experience our volunteers provide. The nature of contributions amongst each of our volunteers on the Events Working Group will vary; we simply ask that you follow through on what you commit to.
This rewarding volunteer role is particularly suited to a student or graduate with aspirations to begin a career in the not-for-profit sector or events; or an experienced not-for-profit or corporate professional who is eager to share their expertise and connections.
However, your enthusiasm and energy are what’s most important for our Events Working Group volunteers, regardless of your age, experience or your background.
