About the role
As Shop Manager, you will be leading a team of staff and volunteers to deliver an outstanding customer experience, creating a vibrant, fun place to shop, work and volunteer. You will have the autonomy to develop your shop and engage with the community and will be expected to attract volunteers and donations locally. You will achieve ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.
You will work collaboratively with a peer support group of shop managers and will have opportunities to build your own skills through training and development.
About you
To be successful in this role you need to be an experienced Shop Manager with proven track records of managing a high performing team and achieving sales results. You will have a genuine interest in charity retail and be seeking a challenge that stands out from other retail management roles. You will know how to manage and build Crisis’s reputation within the local community and be committed to Crisis’s values and mission to end homelessness.
You may have experience in; retail management, stock management, people management, customer service, recruitment/interviewing.

Your role
As Shop Manager at Scope's Scarborough shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You will have relevant experience in retail but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important.
About you
As Shop Manager you’ll be passionate about retail and have a love of fashion with experience of running a shop, or you’ll be looking for a management role as the next step in your career. To be successful, you’ll need a commercial, can-do attitude and always put the customer’s needs first. Our shops are the face of our retail brand, run by a dedicated, creative and passionate bunch of superstars. We focus on sustainable fashion and engaging with local communities. We lead our volunteers to deliver a great colleague and customer experience. And we raise much needed funds to deliver Everyday Equality for disabled people and their families.

It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day. So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

About the Role
As Shop Support Manager, you will provide focused support on defined areas, working alongside the Shop Manager to understand the shop, community, and proposition. Working closely with the Shop Manager in our Clapham shop, an initial focus of your role will be in supporting volunteer recruitment as we look to grow our existing volunteer team, including ensuring they receive amazing induction and training support when they join us!

You will be someone with exceptional project coordination skills, who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering.
You'll bring:
- Project coordination experience within retail or a transferable setting, e.g. community engagement, volunteer management, operations etc.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build & maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people.
- A flexible, positive and resilient attitude, able to work at pace in a fast-moving environment.
- Results driven approach with experience of working to targets.
- Experience and confidence using a range of IT platforms including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as systems for the management of other areas (e.g. reporting, volunteer management).

The Role
Last autumn, Yorkshire Cancer Research opened the first Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre – a fully integrated Cancer Rehabilitation Centre, Café, Shop, Donation Centre and Office, all under one roof.
We are currently looking for a Deputy Café Manager to join our Café team. Reporting to the Café Manager, you will be involved in the day to day running of the café, serving food and drink in a positive and welcoming manner. This role would ideally suit someone working in a similar position looking for a new challenge or for someone looking to step into their first management role.
Specifically, you will:

Play an active part in running our Café in Harrogate, supporting the Café Manager in implementing processes and ways of working.

Support the Café Manager to maximise the income and profit of the Café through active stock management, replenishment, and rotation.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:

To be ideally educated to GCSE level or equivalent but not essential.

The Role
The role of Retail Support Manager involves actively running our shops in the absence of our Shop Managers. Provide management cover at Retail locations as required by the charity currently including (but not limited to): Knaresborough Shop, Northallerton Shop, Pickering Shop, Ripon Shop, Harrogate Shop, Hornbeam Park Shop, Skipton Shop, Leeds Shop, Yeadon Shop, Donation Centre in Harrogate and subsequent locations as the charity grows. Depending on the role holder’s geographic location we can agree which areas will be covered.

Manage agreed shop operating policy and standards including Health and Safety and Trading Standards in the absence of the Shop Manager.

Ensure there is management cover and sufficient volunteers to operate all trading hours.

It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day. So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

Your role
As Shop Manager of Scope's Huntingdon shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You will have relevant experience in retail but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important.
About you
As Shop Manager you’ll be passionate about retail and have a love of fashion with experience of running a shop, or you’ll be looking for a management role as the next step in your career. To be successful, you’ll need a commercial, can-do attitude and always put the customer’s needs first. You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and a creative eye for displays. We ask you demonstrate an appreciation of Scope’s values and ambition of achieving Everyday Equality for disabled people.
