Home/Field Based (covering the Midlands and the North of England)

Currently, we directly support almost 60,000 people every year across England, helping them through crises, to live independently and to realise they are not alone.

Our housing services provide a supportive home environment that paves the way to greater independence and recovery. We help people with their day-to-day living and social skills, as well as providing access to social activities, further education, employment and training.

We are now looking for a Quality Support Manager to join our Quality and Service Support Team and ensure our services are of the highest standard.

The Role 

As the Quality Support Manager, you will support our existing and new services by offering a quality assurance service and support to improve.

Carrying out audits and investigations, you will identify any performance or quality issues, creating solutions and working with colleagues to find resolutions to support effective improvements to our services. 

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will:

- Report on audit findings 
- Assist in the implementation of any changes to services
- Support service implementation plans for new contracts and services
- Work with external organisations, internal colleagues and people who use our services
- Deliver training and provide service improvement resources to colleagues 
- Hold investigations into complaints, incidents, health and safety and HR issues 

About You

To join us as the Quality Support Manager, you will need:

- Good management skills, with experience in an operational and/or quality role in social care and/or NHS setting
- Prior experience of contributing to reviewing and changing systems, policies and processes
- Experience of quality management and using multiple data sources 
- Experience of working within a national and/or dispersed team with responsibility for quality audits, service improvement and/or service delivery
- Experience of delivering training on service user support, planning and risk management 
- A track record in contributing to service improvement and achieving sustainable results across multiple service types in health and social care
- The ability to provide operational management support to services 
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills 

Please note, this role will involve national travel to provide support to the team and to attend services and regular meetings in London and Birmingham.
