Job description

You’re an exceptional leader with experience of delivering services in social care/housing/health. All you need is the perfect environment to put your skills to great use. Welcome to Richmond Fellowship as Head of Continuous Improvement.

Right now, we’re looking for a resourceful and resilient individual to lead on a programme of continuous improvement involving quality assurance, quality reviews and quality improvement. Among your many challenges will be the need to implement a framework that ensures operational delivery is based on recovery, coproduction and best practice principles. We’ll also rely on you to inspire and provide the direction, drive and ownership and engagement it takes to deliver a Group Strategy. Providing operational quality assurance across the group structure to ensure adherence to the policy, regulatory and legislative requirements of our sector will be important too. And, when it comes to establishing and embedding a quality improvement culture across the Group by developing the expertise of leaders and teams throughout the group’s partner organisations, again, we’ll count on you to deliver. In short, you’ll make a telling contribution to the work of the Senior Leadership Team.

As well as a relevant professional qualification (e.g. RMN/Dip Soc Work/NVQ minimum level 4), you’ll need a good understanding of mental health, domestic violence, drug and alcohol issues and practice. You’ll also need in-depth knowledge of quality assurance frameworks, operational governance and the legal, regulatory and policy framework that underpins our operational delivery. A highly effective people manager, you have a proven ability to develop and implement new service models too. What’s more, you’re adept at building working relationships with a variety of stakeholders to enable continuous improvement, as well as delivering quality review programmes and overseeing investigations. Last but not least, you have a flair for analysing and using management information to monitor adherence to quality standards, a proactive, outcome and solutions focused approach and a flexible attitude to working hours.

The successful candidate can be based at offices in either Liverpool or West Yorkshire, or be home-based.

The closing date for this post is 26th November 2019

Interviews will be held on 5th December 2019
