Right now, one of our partners, Richmond Fellowship, is looking for a Recovery Worker to join the team at our Kirklees service. Our team of experienced and knowledgeable male and female staff work with a wide range of needs. We can support around 66 people in the community, tailoring the support to individual needs. We concentrate on the person and their personal goals and aspirations. We can also provide a personal assistant service through an hourly charge.
Day-to-day, you’ll manage a caseload of clients and give them all the support they need to enable them to help sustain their tenancy. You’ll also work with individuals to develop an appropriate personal support plan that addresses their specific needs, helping them when it comes to liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies to give people access to a full range of services.
A great listener, with a flexible approach and a flair for planning and prioritising a busy workload, you love motivating and engaging people in a range of developmental and rehabilitative activities. What’s more, you have a good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect people. Experience of identifying and co-ordinating a range of services to meet an individual’s needs and to enable them to engage with community services and activities is also essential.
The successful candidate will ideally have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Subsequent salary progression up to a maximum of £16,320 will apply to this post, subject to the post holder meeting the eligibility and performance criteria.
