Job description

You don’t need experience, we’re more interested in your personality, so if you can bring empathy and a real commitment to supporting people to achieve independence, we will provide you with all the training and development you need to excel in this role.

Right now, we are looking for someone like you to join our team at Moor View where we support people with mental health problems. Following a recent CQC inspection that raised some operational issues, we have taken positive steps to address them and have started an improvement journey which we’d love you to join us on. You’ll share our commitment to creating and maintaining an environment where people can thrive and achieve their full potential. You’ll join a team of Recovery Workers and get involved in a range of duties such as helping to come up with a personal support plan, developing domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities. It’s a varied role but one that will give you real satisfaction as you see the difference your input makes to the lives of the people we support.

Training and Benefits

The salary is £17,004.00 with progression to £17,230.00 per annum. In addition the successful candidates will receive a £1,000 Golden Hello payment.

Please note that this post is for a night worker and the post-holder will be required to work night shifts.
