Job description

Location: Please note that the role is either office based in Warwickshire or home based from any location in the UK - dependent on candidate.

Details: an exciting opportunity has arisen to join RDA’s Fundraising team and lead on our Major Donor portfolio. This is a perfect challenge for an experienced major donor fundraiser to take on a strategic and operational leadership role. As a key growth area for the RDA, with significant untapped potential, this role will provide you with the opportunity to develop and implement a strategy in major donor and special events fundraising. We are seeking a motivated and successful fundraiser with a track record in this area and experience of developing relationships to drive growth.  

You will be responsible for ensuring RDA maximises income from major donors, whilst delivering and developing our special events portfolio – including gala dinners, regional dinners, developing our major donor club and developing partnerships with new and existing donors. You will have an excellent track record in generating new business in this area of work.

About RDA: RDA is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities through interaction with horses. With the support of 18,000 volunteers and qualified coaches, RDA has 500 centres all over the UK, supporting cities and remote rural areas. Through fun activities like riding and carriage driving, our beneficiaries experience the positive impact of our work; with significant improvements in physical and mental wellbeing, verbal and non-verbal communication, relationship building and confidence.
