We have an exceptional job opportunity for a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience of student or scholarship selection in an educational setting.
The RISE program is a brand new initiative (funded by Schmidt Futures) that offers 15-17 year olds a residential program, a lifelong connection to the wider RISE community, and many other innovative life-changing opportunities. Our aim is to build a lifelong community of students, teachers, and institutions across sectors who aim to serve others.

Over the next ten years we will create a network of 100,000 young leaders and they will be at the heart of the global RISE community.
As Selection Manager you will co-ordinate from the Rhodes Trust the selection process for the first rounds of Rise selections, leveraging partnerships and liaising with a global base of selectors to coordinate the Rise Fellow selections, and pull different aspects of the Rise project together to ensure the highest standards are met. To achieve this you will ideally have:
- Significant experience (ideally 2-3 years) in academic/scholarship/talent selection environments, preferably of young people in the 15-18 year old age group
- Strong knowledge of best practice in admissions and/or scholarship application, interview and assessment processes
- An appreciation of the range of assessment tools, and an interest in innovations in the field of talent spotting
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of how to build relationships across global cultures.
