Job description

Flexible bank hours  (preferred minimum 22 hours per week )

Domestic abuse has increased under lockdown and we have seen an increase in the demand for our services.

We are recruiting bank staff to be available as soon as possible to be part of our caseworker teams over the following months to help us respond to this demand.

Bank staff will be used flexibly as needed. For example, this could be to answer our helpline, support our case workers to input data or to support survivors in temporary refuge accommodation.

If you are passionate about supporting survivors of domestic abuse, have the relevant experience and are available over the coming months, then we would love to hear from you.

RISE is an independent charity based in Brighton and Hove providing a range of community based and residential services to survivors of domestic abuse.

This post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

RISE is committed to following Equality and Diversity and safer recruitment practices.

On appointment eligible staff will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and supply us with references.

We positively encourage applications from the Black and minority ethnic communities as they are currently under-represented in our organisation.

Please download an application pack from our website.
