RNIB is there for the millions of people that are partially sighted and blind in the UK. Everyday 250 people begin to lose their sight. The organisation has a crucial role to play in creating a world where there are no barriers to people with sight loss. We want society, communities and individuals to see differently about sight loss.
Following a strategic review, we are now primed and ready for an innovative step-change in our fundraising approach and fundraising results to serve more individuals across the UK. To achieve this, we will appoint a new Director of Fundraising.

The new Director of Fundraising will provide leadership and direction on all aspects of the organisation's fundraising strategy, creating innovative, sustainable fundraising programmes and initiatives. You'll grow our restricted and unrestricted income, ensure our income targets are delivered while developing positive and lasting relationships with donors and partners. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the fundraising department to embrace ambition and celebrate success, while maintaining excellent relationships across other departments. There is so much to fundraise for and so much potential for our fundraising team to flourish.
As the Director of Fundraising, you will lead a fantastic team of fundraisers across all disciplines, contributing nearly £70m of fundraised income to our client each year. You will harness the power of effective storytelling and fundraising technology while ensuring the incredible portfolio of current fundraising activity is effectively stewarded and celebrated. The ideal candidate will enjoy driving forward new fundraising ideas and will have led fundraising strategy in previous positions.
